While President Farley has indicated that everyone on campus is looking everywhere for cost savings in these tough economic times, Vice-President Hill, Treasurer headed to Savannah, Georgia for a conference in November, 2009. A review of her expense report shows that she may not have gotten the message about cutting costs.
Four nights at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa and a $65 shrimp dinner for one (including 2 Stoli – a Russian vodka) were among the receipts included in her reimbursement request of $1,300 in November.
Hopefully she picked up some good ideas for cutting costs at the conference. |
